EFCU Education Loans from Pre-K through Graduate Studies

EFCU can help you with student loans for those costs associated with education from pre-K to Graduate Studies at an accredited institution. The loan may be used towards tuition, as well as lab fees, textbooks, and housing (on campus, including meals).

Requirements

School must be accredited
Minimum loan amount of $1,000.00
Undergraduates must be enrolled for a minimum of 9 hours
Loan is a fixed rate

EZ Loan: New for 2008

The EZ Loan* is a convenient loan solution when you have unexpected emergencies. This short-term signature loan provides relief during a crisis; a solution to a past due bill or an unforeseen situation that demands immediate attention.

The maximum loan amount for an EZ Loan is $1,200, which must be repaid in 120 Days (Four Months).** You may apply for an EZ Loan at your local branch or through our secure online loan application.

* There is a maximum loan rate of 18% for this product--the maximum usury rate established by the NCUA. The first payment is due within 30 days of signing or by the next payroll period, and there is a mandatory 90-day pre-existing ACH payroll deposit. Members are allowed one (1) outstanding EZ Loan at a time, with a maximum of four (4) loans per calendar year. This is a non-risk based product.
** Payment example: a $1,200 loan at 18% APR with a 4-month term would require 8 semi-monthly payments of $155.11. Payment example is an approximation only; please speak with a Member Service Representative for actual payment information.

Personal Line of Credit

This unsecured, revolving line of credit lets you borrow money now or later—whenever you need it. Your credit line can be used at anytime, for any purpose. You are not required to pledge any collateral as it is an unsecured credit line. Whenever you need extra funds, you simply withdraw any amount up to your approved credit limit. Your monthly repayment amount is based on your outstanding balance.
