Important Notice to Members that are Not U.S. Citizens
New and existing EFCU members that are NOT U.S. Citizens will NOT have access into the U.S. Government building at the Department of Energy Forrestal located in Washington, D.C.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Members who are affected by this change are welcome to utilize all of our e-Services including PowerLine (telephone banking), eBranch (online banking) and ATMs, as well as our Call Center, and any of our other three (3) branches listed above.

Forrestal Branch

Note: All members can enter the Forrestal Branch in the DOE Building via the West Entrance, as long as they can provide valid identification. Members will have to go through a routine screening at the security check point, and will then be permitted access to the Credit Union office located at the top of the escalator near the cafeteria.

Note: All members can enter the Germantown Branch in the DOE Building, as long as they can provide valid identification along with an EFCU ATM, Visa, or Visa Debit card. Members will have to go through a routine search at the main gate (which is around the North Entrance), and will then be permitted access to the Credit Union office located near the newly renovated cafeteria (East Entrance).

Looking for a more convenient location to transact your Energy FCU business? You’re in luck, we now offer expanded access through Credit Union Service Centers. These centers are situated in and around the DC and Baltimore Metro areas and throughout the nation. 2008 Holiday Schedule for CU Service Centers

For a detailed listing or for a location nearest to where you work or live, please log on to www.cuservicecenters.org and enter the appropriate address or call 1-888-CU-SWIRL (287-9475). Members can make a deposit to your EFCU account(s), make withdrawals, transfer funds between accounts, cash a check, make loan payments, and more.

You will need three things to access your account at the CU Service Center:
1. The name of our Credit Union (Energy FCU)
2. Your Account Number at Energy FCU
3. A Valid U.S./State Government issued picture identification with signature.
