eBranch: Online Banking and Bill Pay
The first 90 days of Bill Pay are free, and it remains free as long as you pay at least one bill a month. With eBranch, you can do the following:
To help keep your online information and transacations secure, we have Enhanced Login Security to fight against online fraud & ID theft. Click here to demo our Home Banking system.
Information on Quicken and Microsoft Money Downloads In 2003, we upgraded to a Web Connect product for our eBranch users. It still requires you to Export the file while you are in eBranch (through the download feature), but it will launch Quicken for you if you agree to open the file (so it may seem like a more online experience). When Quicken is launched, you will see the transactions listed at the bottom of the account page, and you will be able to process each transaction individually. You may also simply save the file from eBranch, and Import it into Quicken later. Tired of calling EFCU’s Call Center to see if your paycheck has been direct deposited? Don’t want to take a trip into the branch to see when your Certificate of Deposit matures? Logging onto to eBranch every morning to make sure you have enough in your checking account to cover the checks you wrote last night? With Notifications
you can set up any number of email notifications related to your EFCU
accounts (or a Personal one): Once the notification is set up in your eBranch account, and your account meets the criteria you have indicated, a message will be emailed (at the email address you specify) notifying you of your account-specific information. Please note that the email you type in for the notification MUST MATCH the email you have provided for your eBranch account (look under Users Options in eBranch to determine what that email is). Also, you will continue to receive the notification as long as the criteria set by the notification is being met (you must go in and delete the notification if it has served its purpose). Scheduled and Recurring Transfers Making recurring and/or scheduled transfers within your account or to related account just got easier! You no longer have to log on to eBranch each and every time you need to transfer funds. Simply log on, set up a scheduled or recurring transfer and you’re on your way! You may select a specific date in the future (for one time only transfers), or choose a frequency you would like transfers made – such as weekly, monthly or twice monthly – depending on your own specific needs. Keep in mind, too, that you may view and change your schedule transfers on eBranch at any time, and will receive emails confirming your transfers, or if applicable, letting you know that your transfer could not be made (most likely due to insufficient funds). It’s a great way to pay a child their allowance, or even give your college student their own stipend. Saving for a fabulous vacation—transfer a small amount of money each pay into an Accumulator Savings account and watch your savings grow! Please be mindful of scheduling deposits and transfers the same day--transfers may be scheduled to be taken out earlier in a day than deposits are made, and you could be in danger of an overdraft. Secure Forms Secure forms for Address Change, ATM or Debit Card applications, and Check Copy Requests, and Direct Deposit are now available online via eBranch. Stop Payment has it's own button on the eBranch menu. You can reorder your EFCU checks through eBranch by clicking on the Check Reorder button while you are logged into eBranch. You need to either have your unique Reorder Identification number and your starting check number OR you need to have your account number, routing and transit number and the starting check number. The Challenge Question feature allows you to provide answers to certain
standard questions (formatted by our web host) and have those questions
later used for authentication purposes. These questions and answers are
encrypted and not available to either EFCU or our web host, but only to
you when needed. When you have forgotten your password, you click on the
appropriate link on the Help page and answer your questions. If you successfully
answer all of the questions, you are given the opportunity to then change
your password. All previous questions and answers are then erased, and
you will have to provide new ones if you like the system. The whole process
takes minutes, and it's available 24 hours a day.
