• Deposits are free and unlimited at depository EFCU ATM machines in the following locations: Forrestal, Germantown, White Flint and Shady Grove.


• Unlimited withdrawals at any EFCU-owned ATM.


• Account balance inquiries are free and unlimited at any EFCU ATM machine.


• Transfers between your related accounts are free and unlimited at any EFCU ATM machine.


• EFCU Point of Sale Purchases - STAR Point-of-Sale (POS) enables members to make PIN-based, secure, real-time purchases directly from their checking accounts without writing checks. STAR POS also eliminates the need to carry excess cash and even has a "cash back" feature. STAR POS is accepted among grocers, service stations, fast food restaurants, and other retailers and can be used with either your eCash ATM or eCheck Debit card.

• Worldwide Access - if you travel outside of the United States, you can access your Credit Union funds through the PLUS network for a small transaction fee. Please note: when you are outside of the country, you may only access funds from your Checking Account with your ATM card--so be sure you have a checking account and that sufficient funds are available if you wish to use it while you are away.

Important information about withdrawing funds from Allpoint ATMs:

• Many Allpoint ATMs ask you to approve a surcharge when withdrawing funds. Due to the technical limitations of certain types of ATMs, we are not able to prevent the “surcharge” message from appearing on many machines. You should continue the transaction by answering “Yes” on this screen. When you get your receipt, you’ll see that you were not assessed a surcharge.
• You cannot make deposits at Allpoint ATMs. However EFCU still belongs to the CU Here/CU 24 ATM Network in which you are able to make deposits. Log on to our website for those ATM locations.
• We offer an Allpoint Money Back Guarantee. All ATMs listed on the Allpoint Surcharge Free ATM Locator are Surcharge Free or we’ll refund your money!

Please note that any deposits made by an EFCU member at a non-EFCU proprietary ATM (another CU Here machine) will have a mandatory 2-day hold put on those funds deposited. We recommend that if you will need to use the money you are depositing prior to 48 hours, that you deposit your cash or check into an EFCU-owned ATM.
