EFCU is fortunate to have a variety of resourceful and valuable volunteers. Whether it's a volunteer elected to the Board of Directors, someone on the Supervisory Committee, or the invaluable members who attend our Member Service Advisory Committee meetings, these are the people who give of their time to help shape and improve the future of EFCU.

Board members willingly give their time and energy to our credit union because they believe in the goals and purpose of our organization. These Directors receive no payment or special treatment; they volunteer so our institution can thrive and prosper to serve future generations. When a decision is made to add a new service, or even discontinue a service, you can be assured it's being done in the best interest of the entire membership.

Supervisory Audit Committee

The Supervisory Audit Committee is a volunteer committee that has the responsibility of establishing and maintaining the systematic audit of the credit union and its operations. The Committee ensures that EFCU is operating in compliance with all applicable state laws, the Code of Regulations of EFCU, and other regulatory agency rules and regulations. In addition, this committee is charged with reviewing the financial operation of the credit union.

MEMBER SERVICE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETINGS:

Each quarter a Member Service Advisory Committee Meeting is held at the following three branches: Forrestal, Germantown, and White Flint. All members are encouraged to attend. Following is the 2008 schedule:

June 2008
Forrestal – Tuesday, June 3 from Noon to 1:00 pm in Room
Germantown - Wednesday, June 4 from Noon to 1:00 pm in Room Z 231
NRC – Thursday, June 5 from Noon to 1:00 pm in Room

Member Service Advisory Committee Statement of Purpose

The primary purpose of a Member Service Advisory Committee is to act as a sounding board for the Board of Directors and Management of the Energy Federal Credit Union. The committee will act as a representative of the membership in sharing members' thoughts and perceptions of existing and future Credit Union products, services and delivery systems.
